CHARACTER INFO

Name: Pure Vanilla Cookie
Canon: Cookie Run Kingdom
Canon Point: Post Beast-Yeast Episode 8
Age: Unknown, but at least over one hundred.
Species: Cookie

History: https://cookierunkingdom.fandom.com/wiki/Pure_Vanilla_Cookie

Personality:

✽ What is your character's main motivation? What drives them and keeps them going?
Pure Vanilla's motivation has always been to do what he can to better the lives of cookiekind. Even as a child, his research that he did with White Lily Cookie was to benefit cookies everywhere. If one is to learn magic, why not use it to make it so dough isn't so fragile and brittle?

Pure Vanilla has always had a gentle soul, and that shines through everything that he tries to do. Even his pilgrimage that he had ventured on was for the sake of being able to better the lives of those around him.

All of the hardships that he voluntarily faced was for the sake of others. He is a hero who ultimately wishes to to find a peaceful solution for any problems that occur, even as the leader of his own kingdom.

✽ What is their biggest regret? Why?
At one point, Pure Vanilla's Soul Jam (the source of his powers) converses with him, revealing that Pure Vanilla has deep regrets about the events that occurred during the Dark Flour War. While it never outright states what he regrets, Pure Vanilla is the kind of being who wants to understand and save even those who have wronged him in the past. During the events of Cookie Run Kingdom, he reaches out and wishes to understand Dark Enchantress Cookie. However, Dark Enchantress Cookie had been stopped with force in the past, and many lives were lost as a result of the war. Pure Vanilla is someone who strongly believes in peace – if anything, he would have wanted for the Dark Flour War to end in a less tragic way for even his arch-nemesis. Ultimately, he wishes that he had been able to protect his subjects.

During the start of Beast-Yeast, he states that feels as though he did not fully understand White Lily Cookie despite the both of them being best friends. Perhaps if he had understood her more, the tragic events that took place in the past for him would not have occurred. Perhaps, White Lily would not have had to take her journey alone.

✽ What is their worst fear? Their greatest comfort?
Pure Vanilla has several things that he fears, but one of the biggest things would be to stray from the path that he believes in. While this does seemingly happen during Episode 7 of Beast-Yeast, he also admits that he had created a false pretense for the sake of overcoming the events that takes place of the Spire of Deceit. Pure Vanilla has always been lead by his beliefs, his motivation to create a better life for those he cares for. He fears failing his loved ones once again.

His greatest comfort seems to be rather simple – time spent with his friends. Pure Vanilla shows time and time again that he feels contentment when it comes to his loved ones. Even with Vanilla Kingdom, there is a garden of white lilies – something that reminds him greatly of his best friend. Pure Vanilla is most content when it comes to the company of those he cares for.

✽ Top three strengths?
As the holder of the Soul Jam of Truth, Pure Vanilla never strays from the path that he believes in. Even with his realization that truth cannot exist without lies, he never wavers from what he believes in.

His benevolent kindness coincides with the fact that he's a healer. He's has a nurturing nature, one that's selfless and focused on what he can do for those around him. That kindness goes hand-in-hand with not just forgiving those who have wronged him, but showing empathy and a yearning to understand others.

His leadership is not just humble, but inspiring as well. His hope and leadership have influenced others to feel the same. Even the Vanilla Kingdom was founded by him as a desire to be a beacon of hope and learning for those who reside there.

✽ Top three weaknesses?
Pure Vanilla tends to have an inferiority complex, created from the intense guilt he feels from the events of the Dark Flour War. He blames himself for being unable to protect others. The intense love that he feels only feeds into this weakness, feeling as though he did not live up to the faith that they had in him.

His desire to see the best in others can lead to him being manipulated. Whether this involves his hope that he can convince Dark Enchantress Cookie to change her ways, or the ways that Shadow Milk Cookie tricks him numerous times in Beast-Yeast, it's his kindness that can lead to him ultimately suffering at times. At times, Shadow Milk Cookie creates a scenario where it seems as though other cookies seemingly need help. Due to his willingness to help, it lead to him being tricks time and time again. Eventually, this did lead to his supposed downfall, no matter how short-lived it truly was.

Pure Vanilla has some habit of nearly being neglectful to his well-being at times. He is self-sacrificing, placing others' needs above his own. This is extreme enough to where he was willing to seal away Dark Enchantress Cookie at the cost of even his own life. The other Ancients show concern for his well-being, making sure that he has eaten.

✽ What was their last lie?
During his time in the Spire of Deceit, Pure Vanilla had tricked Shadow Milk Cookie and made him believe that his other half had ultimately won. However, this was for the sake of turning the tides against him. Without doing that much, he would not have been able to save himself or his friends.

Inventory: Characters are permitted a small inventory upon arrival - be it their weapon and a handful of potions, their school backpack, or just something they usually have with them, like a sketchbook. I'm trusting you to not be game-breaking about this, and potential nerfs to magic items or weapons will be noted on acceptance. Weapons must be no bigger than an adult man, and repeat items such as potions are limited to five. You are permitted one pet/familiar/animal companion so long as they are not able to be treated as their own applicable character (so not Ash's Pikachu or Team Rocket's Meowth.)

Abilities: List out notable skills and powers here. When it comes to biological abilities, anything above base-level human counts. Potential nerfs will be noted upon acceptance.

Sample: Please link a sample containing five or more comments from you here. It cannot be more than a year old.
